Donald Wilson-Principal/Clements High School

Mr. Wilson has 36 years experience in the Limestone County School System.  He came to Clements High School in 1974 as an Agribusiness teacher for 16 years.  He served 5 years as the Supervisor of Maintenance and Transportation after which he accepted the position as Career Technical Director and remained there for 7 years.  In 2002 he returned to Clements as our principal.  Mr. Wilson received his BS Degree from Auburn University, M. Ed. and AA from Alabama A & M University, and completed additional graduate studies at UAB and Auburn.  He is married to Debbie Wilson-- together they have five children and one grandchild.  Twin sons Beau Wilson (wife:  Brenna, son Cooper) and Heath Wilson (wife:  Anna) graduated from Auburn with degrees in Mechanical Engineering.  Samantha VanKirk Rose (husband:  Todd) graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Finance.  Michael Van Kirk (wife:  Deneen) graduated from Athens State University with a degree in Business, while Sallie Rae VanKirk is a senior at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and is a member of the softball team.
