Coronavirus Update

Clements High School administration has been made aware that there has been a positive test for Coronavirus in one of our athletic groups. The positive test was self-reported and the individual is asymptomatic.

Because our coaches have been closely following the protocols we were able to contact everyone in the group. To be cautious and to prevent any additional spread of the virus we have suspended workouts until July 13.

We will continue to monitor this situation and follow CDC, ALSDE, ADPH, AHSAA, and LCS guidelines to keep our student athletes as safe as possible.

One last tidbit. If you didn’t get contacted you were not in an impacted group. If you did get contacted there is no need to get tested unless you begin to display symptoms. We will continue to monitor this situation and pass along updates as needed.
